U.S. shelves $300 million ‘real-world’ data platform for Alzheimer’s
Last year, the National Institute on Aging (NIA) announced an ambitious, $300 million–plus project to gather “real-world” data on people who have Alzheimer’s disease or might develop it by drawing on medical records, insurance claims, mobile devices, wearable sensors, and more.
