AI Coding Startup Replit Cuts 20% of Staff, Shifts to Enterprise Sales
Briefing Replit, a San Francisco-based startup developing an artificial intelligence-powered coding assistant, has laid off 30 employees, or 20% of its staff, according to an email CEO Amjad Masad posted on X on Thursday. Replit has raised more than $220 million in funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue Management and others, and was last valued at over $1 billion.
